Adobe Creative Cloud (CC):

Illustrator is used by artists and graphic designers to create vector art, which can be scaled up and down infinitely without ever losing quality. It is typically used to create illustrations, charts, graphs, logos, diagrams, cartoons, and more.

Photoshop lets you enhance, retouch, and manipulate photographs and other images. It can also be used to create pixel-based illustrations.

Fireworks is a bitmap and vector graphics editor optimized for web design. It lets you create mock-ups, vector art, and interactive images for the web.

InDesign is desktop publishing software that helps you create page designs and typography. It can be used to create works such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers and books.
